The adaptive reuse and renovation of the former Strathmore paper mill aims to house an innovative film production studio with education facilities and artists’ studios and housing.  A resort hotel is being planned with galleries, restaurants, and a performance theater.  The existing mill structure, with its hydro electric power generation facility, has been documented for application of Historical Structure Tax Credit.  Sustainable adaptive reuse strategies are being developed for an energy efficient, healthy, resource efficient renovation.
