Kao Design Group collaborates with leading research labs such as UC Berkeley Renewable and Appropriate Energy Lab, and engineers from ARUP and Elgin Energy, to master plan renewable energy generation systems in Wind, Solar, and Geothermal resources. KDG coordinates with biologists and environmental consultants to minimize the environmental and visual impact of the systems, while optimizing their energy generation and infrastructure integration. Each site’s climate data is gathered and modeled to compare various conceptual power generation opportunities, while environmental conservation and budgets are assessed and evaluated. |
